For those of you who shared an evening of music with us last night, Wow!!!
Pela, as long as I can remember, has never played without their shirts on; never had the audience shed their shirts, and never had an amazing trumpet player walk on stage and improvise in the sweaty beer soaked thing that was the Larimer Lounge last night.
The shows dramatic finally took us by surprise when the club turned the lights on and shut off the P.A./Microphone to kick us off stage.
But you sang along. Your foot stomping and chanting during and after the show spilled out into the street. The fact that you jumped onstage with us on your own and grabbed tambourines and sang when they killed the power was stunning! For that moment everyone there was in the band creating the music.
We apologize for the way the club spoke to you while ‘kicking everyone out’ directly after the show. Unfortunately that left a bad taste in our mouths to what was otherwise an incredible evening. The fact remains, that we want to take responsibility for not minding Colorado state laws (smoking onstage, playing after 2 a.m, having people onstage, etc… ).
But that taste is easily wiped out of our mouths when the memories of the show drift through our minds. Thank you so much for a night we will talk about for a long, long time. We can’t wait to play in Denver again!

Hello to all the beautiful people of Portland. We have good news and sad news. The sad news is we have lost The Crowd Project video from the show. Our video card was reformatted and the video was erased in the process. So we have decided to put together a video just for you. Thank you to everyone that made it out to the show. We played Portland on a Tuesday night after Memorial Day, just after a weekend that held a few major festivals. That fact that you came out to dance and sing on such an off night means the world to us.
