You can’t keep a good thing down.

Billy has his stitches out and new tour dates are rolling in. Almost every show has been rescheduled on ‘There’s No Off Switch Thing On This Tour’, and we will be adding more shows throughout the next few weeks. As far as we know, tickets purchased for canceled dates can be transferred over to the new shows. Be sure to check with the clubs for more information regarding ticket exchange or refund. We hope that everyone that bought tickets will be able to make it to the new dates.

The “There’s no off switch on this thing” tour is officially underway and to celebrate the tour we have part 4 of the cinematic series for you. Is it a bird, a plane, or Sasquatch?Tonight the Lads will be in Cambridge, MA and will return tomorrow to their home port in Brooklyn before heading West. While the tour is on, we’ll be broadcasting from the Tour Blog. Be sure to join us there.

Encouraged by Coppola and Spielberg, Pela will be submitting this series to both Cannes and the Sundance film festival later this year.

Shelby Miller from Shifted Sound has created an animation which features Pela’s “7th and 17th” from “Anytown Graffiti”.

Our resident spaceman, Brendon Stuart has put together a “video” comprised of some of the 800 still photos he took at the recent show at the Bowery. Our crack web team hasn’t been able to get it to run on this site yet, but you can view it by clicking on the image below.

A couple of weeks ago, we announced that a video of Pela playing an acoustic version of Cavalry. No sooner than we announced it, it disappeared. We’re still not sure what happened to it but it has been reposted. It shows the lads playing with Chris Herb, an old friend and bandmate of Billy, who wrote the lyrics. The video is not the best quality but you may never see the song being done this way again.

Don’t know how this happened, but our song “Lost to the Lonesome” was recently on the WB show Veronica Mars.
