You can’t keep a good thing down.
Billy has his stitches out and new tour dates are rolling in. Almost every show has been rescheduled on ‘There’s No Off Switch Thing On This Tour’, and we will be adding more shows throughout the next few weeks. As far as we know, tickets purchased for canceled dates can be transferred over to the new shows. Be sure to check with the clubs for more information regarding ticket exchange or refund. We hope that everyone that bought tickets will be able to make it to the new dates.
Also, our resident videographer, Chris Herb, has put together a new video montage.
See you on the road…
The lads have added another show to the upcoming tour. If they aren’t playing near you, hang in there. There’s still more shows to come.

The Mystery of the Poster.
After our show at the Williamsburg Music Hall we found a bundle of these posters with our stuff. Each poster was individually made. We took them with us to Chicago and gave them out to people in the audience. Now, as fate will have it, they will mark a notorious show.
If you or someone you know created these posters please let us know. We would like to formally thank you.
Also, here is a link to photos from Shubas. These photos were taken by Kari Wall. Kari’s friend won tickets to see us in Chicago. She even joined us on stage for a couple of shots. Thanks Kari.
Billy’s surgery went well yesterday and he is home resting. His tendon is reconnected and he was able to move his finger. Now he has one month in a cast, then rehabilitation. We will periodically keep you up to date on how he is healing. For those of you that did not get a chance to hear the KEXP interview we have posted it here.Thank you to everyone that has written to Billy and the band, it means everything to us.
Billy will be interviewed by John Richards on KEXP today at 8am pacific time (11am eastern time). You can listen online at kexp.org and on air if you are lucky enough to get KEXP on your radio waves.Billy was asked to share his thoughts about the tour, his injury, and anything else that comes to mind - for everyone that bought tickets to see us on this tour.We apologize for the last minute post, but we just found out.Pela
We are writing to you as our van heads back to New York. Billy has already returned to New York via plane, and is preparing for surgery.During last night’s show at Schuba’s in Chicago Billy fell off the stage, landing on a broken pint glass. This happened during the triumphant finale of the set; the stage was crowded with people dancing and singing to ‘Cavalry’, while a strobe light turned their vision into a cut screen movie. His left hand has a gash on the palm, and a deep slice in his pinky finger which also cut tendons. We regrettably must announce that Schuba’s was the last night of the tour.We promise to make up each and every show as soon as possible and apologize to everyone who purchased tickets. Arrangements are being made with all of the clubs on how best to handle the situation. We will have more information soon.Webmaster note: you can send your best wishes to billy@pelamusic.com and I’ll forward them to him.
Dear Pela Fans,
We regret to inform you that tonight’s show at the 400 bar has been canceled due to an accident. We will share all of the details within the next few days. We send our deepest and most sincere apologies.
Regretfully,
-Pela
